Celebrate World Book Day with RNIB’s Creative Writing Competition.
RNIB is marking World Book Day 2026 with a Creative Writing Competition for all young storytellers with vision impairment.
If you’re aged 5–12 and living in the UK, we invite you to retell your favourite story from the viewpoint of a minor character. No experience needed—just imagination. Winners will be judged by Sibéal Pounder, a World Book Day 2026 author, celebrated at the British Library and featured on RNIB Connect Radio. Entries accepted in print, braille, audio, or video. Submit by Monday 23rd February 2026 for your chance to shine.
