Accessibility at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff
The Sherman Theatre wants to feel as open and accessible as possible, and to help people to overcome any personal or practical barriers that are stopping them from coming to the theatre. They work closely with individuals and groups from the following communities:
- Visually Impaired people
- Older People
- D/deaf people
- Asylum Seekers and RefugeesFamilies
Individuals and community groups can apply to become Sherman 5 members. Membership is free and offers lots of great benefits. Seeing shows is just the start. Member of the scheme are offered a range of opportunities to learn new skills through workshops and training courses You could also become part of a community where you can meet new people and make new friends. Sherman 5 members also have the chance to get involved in the life and work of Sherman Theatre in many other ways, including as volunteers. Sherman 5 is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
