'In My Way: Navigating pedestrian journeys with sight loss' - RNIB Report calls for accessible streets
A new report from RNIB looks at the problems facing vision impaired pedestrians as they attempt to walk around their local neighbourhoods. These include obstacles such as pavement parking, cracked pavements and E-scooters, and cause stress, and in some cases injuries, which can be serious.
You can find out more and read the full report 'In My Way - Navigating pedestrian journeys with sight loss' here.
RNIB is calling on people in Wales and England who share these concerns to contact their local councillor using a template letter (which can be personalised with your own experiences). To support the campaign and submit a letter, click here.
