Welsh Senedd Health and Social Care Committee reviews opthalmology services
A meeting of the Senedd's Health and Social Care Committee on 20th March included a number of evidence sessions on the performance of opthalmology services in Wales.
Representatives of sight loss organisations including Wales Council of the Blind, RNIB, Vision Support and The Macular Society were present, and some patients gave personal stories about their experiences of eye care in Wales. For many, cancelled and delayed appointments can leave patients losing their sight, when it could have been saved. You can find out more about the session, and watch a recording , here.
