RNIB Report - 'Navigating motherhood with sight loss'.

A new report from RNIB explores blind and partially sighted women’s experiences of motherhood, shedding light on societal attitudes and interactions with health and social care professionals. as well as the solutions mothers with sight loss put in place.

Barriers that women with sight loss face during pregnancy and as mothers include the perceptions of healthcare providers when pregnant, inaccessible information from the NHS and schools, and public attitudes.
