Domiciliary urgent eye care

A recent article in 'Optometry Today' describes how patients in Wales who receive domiciliary eye care can now also receive urgent care at home, following changes to the way that eye care is provided.

Previously, a minimum of 48 hours notice was required for a home visit. As well as improving the service to patients, the new approach reduces pressure on GP and hospital services. You can find out more here.
