Specsavers launches awareness campaign in Wales
Specsavers is to launch a campaign in Wales to raise awareness that your local optometry practice should be the first port of call if you experience any eye problems.
This follows research showing that more than a third of respondents did not know they could use an optician for the sudden onset of symptoms such as blurred or cloudy vision, loss of vision, floaters or flashing lights. Recent changes to the optometry contract in Wales mean that more services can be delivered closer to home, reducing the load on GPs and other parts of the NHS.
You can find out more about the campaign in an article on the Optometry Today website.
