Sight Life’s Rhondda Cynon Taf office has recently set up two new groups:

  • Llanharan & District Sight Loss Group meets at the Llanharan Community Development project (the old Drop-in Centre) every second Monday afternoon of the month from 1.30 – 3.30pm. It is for anyone with sight loss, family, friends, and carers living around that area who enjoys a social group setting with refreshments, speakers, and activities.
  • The Activity and Wellbeing Group has been developed in collaboration with Cambrian Village Trust in Clydach Vale (Rhondda). The group meets every fourth Monday afternoon of the month from 2 – 3.30pm and takes advantage of their newly opened sensory garden and the lakeside to take part in a whole host of outdoor activities.
These groups are in addition to the existing Young at Heart and Pontypridd Visually Impaired People (VIP) group. Visit the Sight Life website for more information, or contact Carys Groves on 07753 305 631 or email carys.groves@sightlife.wales.
