Wales faces a 'tidal wave of blindness' unless urgent improvements are made
BBC Wales has reported on concerns that the country faces a 'tidal wave of blindness' due to delays in providing sight-saving treatment to those at the greatest risk of serious eye harm.
Latest figures show 75,000 people at greatest risk of losing their sight are waiting too long for treatment, a number which has almost doubled in just four years.
