Report into Disabled Student's Allowance published
Lord Chris Holmes, a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology, has published the results of his investigation in to problems with the Disabled Student's Allowance (DSA).
Issues found included lack of awareness, delays, disconnections and unreasonable bureaucracy. It is concerning that in 2019/20 the number of disabled students receiving full-time DSA in England and Wales was just 29% of the number of known disabled students.
