Locked out: liberating disabled people’s lives and rights in Wales beyond COVID-19
The Welsh Government has issued a very detailed report on the impact of Covid 19 on the lives of disabled people. 'Locked out: liberating disabled people’s lives and rights in Wales beyond COVID-19' is the result of an evidence-based enquiry which was launched following concerns raised at the Welsh Government’s Disability Equality Forum.
The report raises many issues of concern to people with sight loss, such as delays to medical appointments, inaccessible communications, removal of essential support services and changes to the built environment, and makes a series of recommendations. You can read it here.
