Travel advice from Guide Dogs and The Macular Society
The coronavirus pandemic has brought changes to the way that people travel on public transport. Guide Dogs and The Macular Society have produced some useful advice for people with sight loss as they try to adapt to the changes.
Guide Dogs' Tips for people with sight loss when travelling on public transport gives advice on planning your journey, changes at the station and during the journey, and use of facemasks. It also has links to the appropriate guidance from transport providers and devolved Government websites.
The Macular Society focusses on advice for people travelling to eye clinics for injections, although it is also relevant for other journeys. You can read it here.
