UK Government launches Inclusive Transport Strategy
The UK Government's Department of Transport has launched its Inclusive Transport Strategy, which is intended to improve accessibility across all types of travel for those with both visible and less visible disabilities.
Although many aspects of responsibility for transport policy and delivery in Wales have been devolved to the Welsh Government, areas which are reserved to the UK Government (and therefore covered by this report) include cross border rail services, rail infrastructure investment, aviation and policy on equal opportunities including accessibility. You can find out more and read the the full report here.
