Description: Sense is a national charity that supports & campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. They offer high-quality, flexible services across the UK, using skilled staff and a dedicated network of volunteers. They work with a wide range of deafblind and multi-sensory impaired people, as well as those with a single-sensory impairment with additional needs. They offer specialist services built around the wishes of each person, enabling them to be as independent as possible.

Deafblind support

Specialist one-to-one support for deafblind people through both communicator guides and intervenors, and outreach support to children, families and deafblind adults in their own homes

Sense Usher Service

The Sense Usher Service specialises in the field of Usher syndrome and supports people with Usher, their families and professionals. Support covers advice, assessments, training, mentoring and professional support.

Sense Active Programme

We have a host of resources that will help sports practitioners, coaches, teachers and support staff provide sensory experiences for people who are deafblind or disabled. We also support the sports and social care sectors through consultation and training. Our tools, training and resources can help you ensure your sports programmes are more inclusive and accessible.

Every Monday. Seated yoga classes are a fun and friendly, low-impact way to keep active. This activity is relaxed and gentle, and can be taken at the pace of the participant.
