Find out more about the National Open Youth Orchestra in Cardiff

The National Open Youth Orchestra (NOYO) is inviting 11 to 25 year-old disabled and non-disabled musicians to apply to join one of their five regional ensembles, including one based in Cardiff.

The NOYO is an inclusive orchestra where disabled and non-disabled musicians rehearse and perform together, and which works with venues to promote accessibility. Its musicians come from five regional ensembles, based in Cardiff, London, Bristol, Bournemouth and Birmingham. The Cardiff ensemble works in partnership with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD).

Applications to join the regional ensembles with be open from 23 February to 24 March. To find out more about the orchestra, and how to make an application, visit their website.

To get a better idea of the orchestra's work, there will be an open rehearsal from 12.30-2.30pm on 2nd March at RWCMD. You can book a place here.
