Applications open for Leonard Cheshire Disability's Change 100 Scheme
Applications are now open for Leonard Cheshire Disability's 'Change 100' scheme, which offers paid internships to people with disabilities who are in the penultimate or final year of university level study, or have graduated in 2021, 2022 or 2023.
Successful candidates receive paid summer internships in 2024, professional development and mentoring. They are also given support and guidance in sharing their disability and identifying and requesting workplace adjustments.
You can find details of the scheme, including full eligibility criteria and how to apply, and read how previous candidates benefitted from the scheme on the Leonard Cheshire Disability website. The closing date for applications is 30th November.
Blind in Business will be hosting a 'Change 100 Insight' webinar on 1st November, where you can hear from Leonard Cheshire Disability, and a successful candidate and the scheme and the difference it can make. You can find out more and book a place here.
