'Visibly Better' award for Barry housing scheme

A housing scheme in Barry has received a 'Visibly Better' award from RNIB Cymru after making design changes to their homes to support people with sight loss.

The changes at Arthur Davis Court, a Newydd Housing Association development, include colour contrasted walls, fixtures and fittings, tactile surfaces on walls and floors, eye-level signage, and sensory clues to help blind and partially sighted people to navigate communal areas.
