RNIB Cymru launches new support during Mental Health Awareness Week

For Mental Health Awareness Week, RNIB Cymru is offering free Wellbeing Check-In sessions for blind and partially sighted people in Wales, and has also launched a new range of Good Mental Health guides.

Although lock-down is easing, many people are still anxious about future. The Well-Being Check-in sessions are an opportunity to speak to a specialist counsellor for an hour over the phone about how you’re feeling and any problems that concern you (not necessarily sight loss-related).

The Good Mental Health guides (in English and Welsh) offer advice and information on many mental health related topics, such as loneliness, sleep difficulties, resilience and mindfulness.

You can find out more about these services here, or ring the RNIB Helpline, 0303 123 9999.
