Cardiff Blues VI rugby sessions restart on 5th May

The Cardiff Blues Visually Impaired rugby team will resume training sessions on Wednesday 5th May at Cardiff Arms Park, and new members are welcome to join. The team is part of the Cardiff Blues Region and fully supported by the club and Welsh Rugby Union. All games and training sessions take place at Cardiff Arms Park on Wednesday evenings at 5.30 pm - 6.30 pm.

You do need some vision remaining to play for safety reasons to avoid as much as possible accidental collisions with other players, but the team isn’t just the guys on the pitch: there are lots of opportunities off the pitch which will help support and develop the team.

It’s a brilliant way to make new friends at the same time as having fun getting fit, and it’s also great for improving mental health.

If you don’t want to play there are a number of volunteering opportunities available to help support and develop the team. For further information please contact Gareth via email at gareth.davies@rnib.org.uk or phone 07949949256.
