VI tennis sessions for adults in Cardiff have resumed

Cardiff Stars Tennis Club organise tennis sessions for adults with a visual impairment, which run indoors at David Lloyd Cardiff from 2 pm to 3 pm on Wednesdays. Following the easing of lockdown restrictions, sessions resumed on 5th May.

Led by an LTA-qualified coach, the sessions include structured coaching but also provide a chance to play some games of tennis and meet others. VI tennis uses a smaller court and sponge balls with bells in to help players establish a rally, and the club are proud to have entered tournaments pre-Covid.

The sessions run on a Pay & Play basis at £5 per week payable to the coach on the day, with players kept informed of activities via an informal WhatsApp group. All equipment is provided and there are rackets for anyone who needs one.

For details please email stars@tennissquad.net or telephone 07903 524456. Cardiff Stars are also on Facebook and Twitter.
