Gardening when you have sight loss

For National Gardening Week (26th April - 2nd May 2021), here's a reminder that Thrive's 'Carry on Gardening' website has lots of tips and advice on gardening when you have sight loss. Topics covered include pruning, weeding, planting and watering. You can read them here.

Thrive also produce a range of publications for vision impaired gardeners, some of them in alternative formats. These include 'Getting on with growing in containers' and 'Getting on with growing food'. You can find out more and order them here. (There is a charge for the publications).

Deafblind UK has also published some advice on making gardening accessible for people with dual sensory loss, which you can read on their website.
