Audio described sculpture and paintings

The Vocal Eyes organisation and South Wales-based artist Carl Chapple have produced some audio descriptions of artworks recently.

Vocal Eyes collaborated with 25 museums and galleries (including two in Wales) to create audio descriptions of standout sculptural works from their collections. The result is a rich set of descriptions representing a diversity of regions, artists, eras and mediums, which it is hoped will further develop connections between audiences and museums and galleries across the UK. The full playlist can be accessed here.

Carl Chapple has worked with Alastair Sill of Word of Mouth to produce audio descriptions of twelve of his pictures of dancers from Ballet Cymru. You can listen to them on his website.
