Children in Wales missing out on habilitation support

A report on BBC Wales highlights gaps in the provision of habilitation services for children with sight loss in some parts of Wales.

The service provided by Guide Dogs Cymru to a child with glaucoma in Gwynedd is described as 'life changing' by her family, but it is not available everywhere, with local authorities say that they need more funding in order to provide this support. You can read the report on the BBC News website.

You can support the call for vision habilitation to be available to everyone in Wales who needs it by using RNIB Cymru's template letter to write to your Senedd Representative before the Welsh Government elections on 6th May.
