Workshops for families with disabled children in Wales

Contact, the UK charity for families with disabled children, is running a series of online workshops specifically for families in Wales during January and February.

'Stress and wellbeing' is an opportunity to hear other parents' experiences, learn new strategies and share as much or as little of your story as you wish. Find out about how stress affects you, and the five steps to wellbeing that you can take to improve your mental health and wellbeing. There are four workshops, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund in Wales. The only date available is now 4th February.

'Family-Friendly Online Forest Schools' is a fun event for the whole family. Each week your kids will be set an outdoor challenge to complete and will then share what they have done during the live sessions. The sessions are supported by BBC Children in Need Cymru.

For full details, dates, and to book a place, visit the 'Family Workshops and Events' section of Contact's website, and scroll down to the Wales-only events. This page also has details of other Contact events which may be of interest.
