Bus passes are changing - reapply by 31st December

Bus pass holders across Wales will need to apply for their new-style Concessionary Travel Card between now and December 2019, when current passes will expire.

Applications can be made via the Transport for Wales (TfW) website (although it has been experiencing some difficulties recently due to the level of demand). You can also download a paper copy from the site and submit it by post, and Transport for Wales is making sure that copies are available from local council sites, such as libraries and community hubs.

TfW has assured people that there is plenty of time to apply, and your current bus pass will continue to be accepted for travel until 31 December 2019. Online application forms take up to 15 working days to be processed and to arrive in the post. If anyone is worried about making an application, help and support is available from the Transport for Wales helpline 0300 303 4240, or other support agencies such as Age Cymru.

You can read Q and As on the Concessionary Bus Pass here.
