LOOK Mentoring Scheme

LOOK UK, the organisation which provides help, support and services for vision impaired children, young adults and their families, has a peer mentoring service for vision impaired children and young adults aged 11-29 who are at school, university/college or looking for work.

The mentor, who also has sight loss, will help you to achieve your potential, and provide advice on any aspect of your vision impairment. Mentors are also wanted: you must be aged 18 to 29 years and have a passion to help others. Full training is provided.

For more information about LOOK's mentoring service, including personal stories of those who have been helped by the scheme, visit their website.
