Audio Described Commentary at Wrexham Football Club

As the start of the 2019/20 football season approaches, here's a reminder that Wrexham Disabled Supporters Association (DSA) in association with sponsors North Wales Masons and The Maesgwyn Hall, provides audio described commentary at Wrexham Football Club’s home matches. The service is managed by Europe's number 1 sports ADC service provider Alan March Sports Limited and is also available to supporters of the away team.

This is a good opportunity for younger people with sight loss who have never been to a match to give it a try, and for older supporters with visual problems to continue their attendance. The commentary will be provided by four trained audio describers. Ten receivers are available, and will be free to use. If you would like to attend a match, please contact Wrexham DSA on wxmdsa@gmail.com or Steve Gilbert on 076961 44 55 45 in advance to confirm the arrangements.

When the service was launched, it was the subject of a report on BBC Wales Today, which you can view here.
