'Sight seeing or sight loss?' - Glaucoma Awareness Week focuses on holidays

Glaucoma Awareness Week was 17th to 23rd June, and this year's theme was holidays - 'sightseeing or sight loss?'.

The International Glaucoma Association (IGA) is giving a reminder of the importance of regular sight tests, and also has advice for people with glaucoma on managing their eye drops while on holiday. This includes how changing time zones affects when you take your drops, the impact of a hot climate and taking them on a plane. You can read all the advice here.

If you or a family member are affected by glaucoma, the IGA's Sightline on 01233 64 81 70 is open from 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and can give help and advice. Click here for more information.
