Aniridia Day on 21st June will focus on 'Possibilities'

This year's Aniridia Day is on Friday 21st June, and the event will focus on possibilities: what people with this condition can do.

Aniridia is a rare congenital eye condition causing incomplete formation of the iris. This can result in loss of vision, usually affecting both eyes. Within the UK, the Aniridia Network is a support group and charity for those with the condition, their family and professionals working with them. To find out more and become a member, visit their website.

On Aniridia Day, people with the condition are encouraged to share a photo or video using #CanDoWithAniridia, with an explanation that shows what can be done as a job, hobby, sport or education while living with aniridia.
