What are reasonable adjustments? Guidance from EHRC

The UK's equality law requires employers to make 'reasonable adjustments' to ensure that, as far as possible, disabled people have the same access to getting and doing a job as someone without a disability. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has produced a range of resources for employees giving more information about what is 'reasonable'.

The detailed guide covers topics such as dealing with physical barriers; providing extra equipment, aids or services; and who pays for any changes. It also has advice on what to do if you feel you are a victim of discrimination. You can read the guide here.
