'Glaucoma in babies and children' - free guide from IGA
The International Glaucoma Association (IGA) has produced a guide for parents whose baby or child has been diagnosed with glaucoma. The guide describes the condition, its symptoms and treatment, and gives advice on how parents can help their child to live with the condition. You can read the guide here.
This is one of a range of free literature that the IGA produces, and other topics include eye clinic referral, driving with glaucoma and using eye drops. For a full list, visit the IGA website. The IGA also runs Sightline, a telephone helpline for people affected by glaucoma, the number is 01233 64 81 70.
