British Blind Sport wins award for e-coaching course

Congratulations to British Blind Sport (BBS), which has won gold in the Learning Awards 2019 for its e-learning course, 'Coaching people with a vision impairment', which was developed in collaboration with UK Coaching.

The awards are given by the Learning and Performance Institute to recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in Learning and Development. BBS won to top prize in the 'Learning technologies' category. You can find out more here.

'Coaching people with a vision impairment' consists of six modules which will increase an individual's knowledge, assurance and skills to be able to coach people with a visual impairment. Topics covered include information on sight loss and eye conditions; safety issues; adaptations and communication. There is a charge for the course.
