Look UK 'Getting Great at the Everyday': Confidence & Wellbeing weekend

Calling young vision impaired people and their parents/guardians! Join Look staff and mentors for a fun weekend of activities designed to boost confidence, resilience and wellbeing. The event will be held at New College Worcester from 2nd to 4th November.

Alongside practical, fun workshops, there’ll be the chance to share experience with VI young people and their parents with a resilience coach who is also a mum of a visually impaired teen. Look has have a team of superb blind and partially sighted mentors, mobility and independent life skills experts on hand to inform, entertain and support you. Like all Look events, this weekend is an opportunity to relax and make new friends, while sharing our experiences of life with sight loss. Workshops include:

The event is open to young blind and partially sighted people age 11+, who can come with a parent/guardian. A deposit of £40 per family (one parent and one young person) is required to secure a place. The full cost is £60 and is payable after the event. Bursary places are available for those who qualify for free school meals.
