NHS Wales communications still not accessible to vision impaired people

Although the Welsh Government introduced a requirement for the NHS to provide accessible communications for people with sensory loss in 2013, RNIB Cymru say that this remains a problem for people with sight loss.

The issue was highlighted in a report by BBC Wales which you can read here. The report contains a link to the 'All Wales Standards for communication and information for people with sensory loss' on the Welsh Government website, which detail the service which should be provided by NHS Wales.
