Active Inclusion – VI Volunteer Mentoring Project

Vision Support are currently working on an ‘Active Inclusion’ project aiming to support people over the age of 25 who live in Conwy or Denbighshire and are long-term unemployed or economically active. The “VI Volunteer Mentoring Project” will provide training and support to individuals over a period of ten weeks in order to increase confidence and skills related to employability.

If you answered “yes” to all of the above, then Vision Support’s ‘Active Inclusion’ project might be for you!

The 10-week course provides mentoring and training for people with sight loss living in Conwy or Denbighshire who are unemployed and looking to get back into work. You will be supported to find opportunities for volunteering and further learning which will increase your employability. For more information, please telephone 01745 472 558 or email kbenn@visionsupport.org.uk.

The project will run until August 2019, and is being delivered in partnership with Wales Council for Voluntary Action. It is being funded by the Welsh European Funding Office.
