3D films can help parents spot vision problems

The Association of Optometrists (AOP) has advised that parents taking their children to see 3D blockbuster Despicable Me 3 this summer should look out for warning signs that their child might have an undiagnosed vision problem.

Good binocular vision is needed to watch 3D films comfortably, so if your child has problems watching the film or experiences headaches or dizziness, you should arrange for him/her to have an eye examination. For more information, see the report on the AOP website.
