Sense launch 'Play toolkits' for children

Sense, the organisation for deafblind children and adults, has launched brand new ‘Play Toolkits’ aimed at mainstream play settings and parents of children with sensory impairments and multiple needs. The aim is to make play opportunities accessible and inclusive for all children.

The toolkits include simple ideas and practical tips on how to tailor play activities so that they can be enjoyed by the entire family. You can find out more, download the toolkits and access videos here.

The launch of the toolkits follows Sense's public enquiry into play opportunities for children with multiple needs, which was chaired by Lord Blunkett and resulted in the report 'The Case for Play', which you can read here.
