Improving later life for people with sight loss

The prevalence of sight loss increases with age: currently there are almost 2 million people aged 65 and over living with sight loss in the UK. Now Age UK and RNIB have produced a new report which looks at how the UK can respond to the challenge that this represents.

'Improving later life for people with sight loss' makes a series of recommendations, which include empowering older people to manage their own eye health, raising awareness of the issues among health professionals, and improving support. To find out more, and read the full report and a summary, visit the Age UK website.
