Description: The RBS has, for nearly 150 years, given assistance to people who are blind or partially sighted and in charitable need. This is done by giving cash grants to provide essential support for those on low incomes, and by providing a range of holidays and leisure opportunities.

Grants from RBS - (Royal Blind Society)Service

Grants can be made to blind & vi people on low incomes. Examples of how they can be used are: IT equipment; reading and literacy aids ; to help pay household bills; to fund work-related training; to buy specialist medical equipment such as thick-lens spectacles; to provide daily living aids such as a washing machine with Braille controls; to meet emergencies and unforeseen needs.

RBS offers holidays tailored to visually impaired people in various locations. They own hotels in West Sussex and Llandudno; arrange holidays in Jersey & Guernsey in association with Premier Holidays, and also arrange activity breaks in association with the Calvert Trust & Jubilee Sailing Trust.
